Freelance Designer/Web Consultant, Bertelsmann Media Systmes, New York (1998-2001). Created a prototype for bol.com, Bertelsmann's online bookselling venture, that served as a model of functionality for the final design team. Maintained and updated graphics and code in a complex database- and template-driven environment. Designed several intranet sites.
Webmistress, Asphodel Records, New York, NY (1995-1998). Designed and implemented the web site of Asphodel Records and its subsidiary Sombient, including javascript, graphics manipulation, site structuring, audio mastering, and video conversion. Managed other members of the production team.
Sound System Developer/Programmer, Sound Traffic Control, San Francisco, CA (1996-1997). Designed the functioning and user interface of a computer-controlled surround sound system. Created multi-channel environmental soundscapes presented on the system at electronic music shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco, November 1996.
Audio Engineer and Sound Editor for Films (1994-1998). Sound editor for films including Happiness (dir. Todd Solondz) and an American Love Story. Studio engineer for artists including DJ Spooky, Joe Gore, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Single Cell Orchestra, and Tipsy.
